A voluntary and community sector for the 21st century
Professor Gary Craig of Hull University warns that the region’s relationship with the voluntary and community sector (VCS) needs to be strengthened to safeguard the £3 billion he estimates it brings into Yorkshire and the Humber.
This research provides the Regional Forum on Ageing and collaborating organisations with up to date knowledge of the numbers and profile of those aged 50-69 years within our region.
This is targeted at the region’s decision makers, including employers, local authorities and inter-faith groups. It outlines facts and figures about the main religions in the region and sign-posts to more detailed information.
Regional Integration Strategy 2003-06
The strategy's aim was to recognise the potential benefit to the region in welcoming new refugees, and to create fair and equal acccess for refugees to services and opportunities within the region.
