The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly
ESF Programme Consultation
In January 2007, the Regional Skills Partnership established a Task and Finish Group to produce the draft regional framework. Members of the Task and Finish Group include the Learning and Skills Council, Jobcentre Plus, Government Office, Yorkshire Forward, Yorkshire and Humber Assembly, the Regional Forum, Sector Skills Development Agency and a representative for Local Government. The group is chaired by Sharon Pickering, Director of the Regional Skills Partnership.
The Regional Skills Partnership has now begun a period of consultation on the draft regional ESF framework, and they are keen to hear your views. Copies of the draft regional ESF Framework, Annexes and Regional ESF Allocations are available to download through this website. Please click on each of the document icons to view them.
The Regional Skills Partnership is particularly keen to know your thoughts on the following questions:
Question 1: Do you think that there are any key areas missing from the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the regional socioeconomic context for Yorkshire and the Humber?
Question 2: Do you agree with the relative priorities identified within the Framework?
Question 3: Are there areas/ actions or priorities that you think are missing from the framework?
Question 4: Is the model that we have described for Community Grants right?
Question 5: What do you think are the principles which would support targeting of the funds?
Question 6: How would you like the Co Financing organisations to involve you?
Please email your comments by Friday 8 June 2007 to Tina Maisuria at the Regional Skills Partnership on: tina.maisuria@lsc.gov.uk
